The Greek consortium SPETE, formed by Hellenic Passive House Institute (HPHI), EKPIZO, a consumers’ organisation, and Electra Energy, brings together technical excellence, social advocacy, and grassroots mobilisation. Their partnership reflects a holistic vision for citizen-led renovation: one that bridges innovation, empowerment, and inclusion.

LIFE E-BUSCO

The LIFE E-BUSCO project aims to integrate renewable energy from companies in Spain, Greece, and Italy, addressing challenges such as “energy cannibalism.” It proposes collaborative Energy BUSiness COoperation schemes among companies, especially in sharing resources like energy storage, to maximize the technical and economic viability of photovoltaic installations and improve profitability. It is coordinated by Voltiva Energy (Spain) and funded by the European Union’s LIFE program. Its duration is from 01/09/2025 to 31/08/2028 with a budget of €1,840,614.00.

ALTHEA

The ALTHEA project accelerates the transition of cities towards climate neutrality, integrating community energy and smart mobility solutions through the Transition Super Living Labs (TSLL). In the Ioannina-Epirus pilot project, Electra Energy leads the social governance, focusing on:
– Establishing an Energy Community for infrastructure management and fair distribution of benefits.
– Developing a Community EV Sharing system.
– The Inclusion Toolkit to ensure access for vulnerable groups.
– Smart Energy Management for optimizing local consumption.
ALTHEA is funded by “Horizon Europe” and promotes the green transition as a social opportunity.
